What Is Imposter Syndrome?

What Is Mental Health and Mindfulness?

What is known as imposter syndrome is the part of the brain that is noisey, keeping you awake at night, second guessing yourself, causing self-sabotage and being overly hard on yourself.  This voice is fear-based and you get caught up in those incessant thoughts and unwanted linked emotions. Think of your thoughts as a car, and the emotions as the fuel that runs keeps the car (thoughts) moving.

What you do though is avoid facing your emotions and suppress them. You perceive your life will be easier that way and so you seek pleasure rather than facing the pain.  However, in this scenario, your happiness is short-lived as the suppressed emotions compound in the body and eventually catches up with you causing more pain, hurt and struggle.
