As a Transformation Life Coach, I see how depression, anxiety, and low-self-esteem have taken over my client’s lives and they now seek peace of mind and purpose. No longer knowing who they are. This may be your experience too.
You feel irritated and frustrated with circumstances. You know a particular version of yourself that was once confident and believed in yourself. You trusted yourself to make decisions without having any anxiety. And now you wonder how you lost yourself over time. You make many attempts to be yourself again but to no avail. You are now at the point of giving up.
Challenges and traumas have happened in your life and suddenly now you look back and see that you were blinded by them, creating depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem. You then start comparing yourself to others and where you are in life in comparison to them. This only depresses you more and makes you feel even more anxious. Giving up is easier and less effort.
In your quiet times, you are overthinking and over-analysing causing negative thinking. The thoughts can even become too loud. You know this is not who you are because you were once positive.
You no longer want these feelings and all you want to do is get back to where you once were, or even to where you should be right now, in life. But you don’t know how to become positive again.
There is no need to live a life like this. You can live a better life by making simple changes that will get you back to where you once were.
Here are 7 tips you can take to get you back to where you once were:
- Stop seeking instant gratification. The change you experience didn’t happen overnight and therefore cannot expect it to happen overnight;
- Change your routine every morning. Scientists have proven that the brain fires and wires together in the same sequences. Therefore if you stay in the same routine the brain will have the same daily experiences. This includes your negative and limiting thought patterns;
- Set new intentions for yourself and say affirmations daily with feeling behind them;
- Lift your energy daily. Every day go within to find what you are truly grateful for and write these down;
- Take one small step out of your comfort zone every day. Just a tiny step will get you to where you want to be, as opposed to no steps;
- Meditation is free and it is healing. Once you go within, review your perceptions you currently have of yourself and transform them by seeing where you have been good enough to be like you once were. Transform them until you feel the shift in your body and mind;
- Don’t give up – you don’t have to live this life. There is hope;
Take your strength back and feel good again by doing these exercises.
The processes used in Transformation Coaching can however enhance your inner growth much faster to get you back to being yourself again. Once you do this you will feel lighter as if a huge weight has been lifted off your shoulders. You will have peace of mind again. Direction and clarity come in toward the end of the coaching so that you are on the right path that makes life meaningful. Depression, anxiety, and low self-esteem become your past as you start a new chapter in life with purpose, happiness, and courage.
